Apex Legends Astral Anomaly Event was recently teased in the latest roadmap for Season 23 ‘From the Rift’ Split 2, which has already begun but the content and changes related to this update will go live on January 7th at 10:00 am PST on all platforms (including PlayStation® 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via EA App, Epic Games Store, and Steam) you can learn more about the patch notes and new modes added with Winter’s Haunt update in our blog post here.

Astral Anomaly Event
This Apex Legends event will supposedly be a Milestone event featuring Horizon OP Bundle skin which was initially leaked back in May 2024, around Season 21 ‘Upheaval’ of Apex Legends, This skin was speculated to be released with the Apex Legends Season 21 mid-season update, but due to the lore reasons it looks like the skin was pushed back to an unknown date, Then after few seasons the skin officially appeared in the Season 23 Launch Trailer at around 00:32 seconds mark.

But now that we know that it is coming this season, let’s quickly go over the skins that you should expect this event to contain including the legendary character to weapon skins
Legendary Characters
The Legendary skins will only be obtainable by opening Astral Anomaly Event Packs given this is a Milestone event, It might also feature Milestone rewards which are currently unknown

This is a half-broken list which is why not all skins are included in this, but you should expect there to be more weapon skins when the event is officially announced/released for now the only legendary skins that we could find were for

If you notice Seer is getting another skin in the same event, it is infrequent for a legend to receive two skins in the same event, so this could either be a standard event item or it could be a free reward that will be obtainable by completing challenges and acquiring event points

As mentioned previously that seer could be a free reward skin that also applies to weapon skins as well since there is one extra epic skin that can possibly be available for free

Rare (PS+ and Xbox Gold exclusive)
Alongside the mentions of legendaries, there are also rare skins for Octane and Horizon which should be part of the Apex Legends PlayStation Plus subscription reward and Xbox gold reward, these often include a rare weapon skin and rare banner frames as well
Lunar Rebirth Event
The Apex Legends Lunar Rebirth Event is speculated to feature the Alter Prestige Skin which was first leaked back in Season 22, and it seems like the skin might finally be coming back, however, it seems like Respawn may have delayed the skin a bit too much since Alter now has the 2nd lowest pick rate in the game and many player gripes seems to be she does not provide any team value, There could be a slight chance that Respawn may have cooked something for Alter in the mid-season patch notes we can only hope
Here are some of the legendary and epic skins you can expect in the Apex Legends Lunar Rebirth Collection Event, and since Lunar Rebirth seems to be a collection event it means players will be able to craft these skins with crafting materials directly from the event
