Apex Legends has revealed the exact drop rate for an “Heirloom Shard Pack”, This decision was made by Respawn to comply with the recent South Korean law which requires Games to disclose loot box probabilities and a local government found more than 200 Games violating the rules, This requires all the game companies to disclose the probabilities of getting the rewards from loot boxes on the in-game purchase screen, and since Apex Packs are considered to be loot boxes this announcement was made in response to those rules
Apex has made it clear that the Drop Rates have not been adjusted, this is just simply a clarification on what are the exact drop rate numbers, statement via Apex Legends “We have not adjusted our rarity drop rates and are now providing greater detail about cosmetic item drop rates.“

● Chances of getting a Heirloom Shard Pack is actually “0.045%” This number was previously labeled as “Less than 1%” in-game
● The published drop rates are the lowest possible rates based on the inventory of a player who doesn’t own any Apex Legends cosmetics
Apex Legends drop rates for Rare Apex Pack
Opening a Rare Apex Pack it has a chance of 0.057% to grant you a Rare Tier Cosmetic, Epic cosmetics have a chance of 0.017% chance and Legendary Items have 0.009% chance to appear in a Rare Apex Pack, if all items are owned in the Guaranteed Drop category, you will receive Crafting Metals of the Rarity selected.
