Every game has at least a few skins that players yearn for and Apex Legends is no different, Ever since 2019 the initial release of Apex Legends Respawn has released glamourous skins in events, sales, or as a free reward. Some are common to see while others are so rare that only a few players might have them and some might never return.
Apex Legends is well-known for its characters which attract people to the character they prefer, whether for their abilities or their unique personality, which gives Respawn a lot of freedom to come up with various cosmetic ideas for certain characters. For example a while back Revenant received an Evangelion-themed skin, Octane Luffy skin, or Wraith Tifa skin there are many such examples
Rarest skins in Apex Legends 2024
From Night Terror Wraith to Inverse Polarity Horizon, let’s have a look at all the skins that are now considered rare based on their time of availability and category of skin
Wraith “Night Terror”
Wraith has always been Respawns favorite character, She has the most legendary skins in the entire game, but her Night Terror skin still holds the title of being the rarest skin in the game (1,964 days since its first appearance), This skin was only available for players who played during the first Apex Legends in-game event “Legendary Hunt” it featured a unique LTM “Apex Elite Queue” which then laid the foundation for Ranked Leagues, Apex had a pretty rough launch, Respawn didn’t know that game will be loved by players this much, which as a result led to the game having nothing to grind for so as compensation after the launch of Season 1 ‘Wild Frontier’. Apex Introduced multiple skins that were only available by completing in-game challenges.
Wraith Night Terror was a reward to players who reached Level 15 in the Season 1 Battle Pass during these 14 days from June 04, 2019 – June 18, 2019
A Recolor version of this skin was introduced during Season 4 which was well received by players however rest assured that the original will never return
Bloodhound “Master of the Hunt”
Bloodhound “Master of the Hunt” was also one of the skins that were part of the Legendary Hunt Event, to obtain this skin players had to Get 5 top 5 finishes in any queue during the event period, which made the skin a challenge to get, considering the game was brand new to players and getting a top 5 finish was not easy for new players who had never played this type of game before, making this skin same (1,964 days old)
Pathfinder “Omega Point”
No rare skin conversation ends without mentioning the fabulous “Omega Point” Pathfinder skin which was only available for a limited time as it was part of the first Twitch Prime reward, since players had no idea if prime gaming skins would ever return, so not many players got it back in the day. Players had to link their Twitch Prime account with their EA account before April 20, 2019 in order to claim this skin making it 2,009 days old
Apex Legends “Founders Pack”
Founders pack was a DLC content released with the launch of Apex Legends which included a Founders Badge, Founder skin for Wraith, Gibraltar, and Bloodhound, and a recolor of The Glorious One Legendary Hemlok skin called “The Notorious One” and Banner Frames for all three legends & 2000 Apex Coins, The DLC was only available for a short period and a lot of players were not aware of its existence until it was randomly removed from the platform after launch of Season making this 2,060 days old
Apex Legends “Starter Pack”
Starter Pack was available at the launch of Apex Legends similar to Founders Pack this was also a DLC content only available during the preseason and launch, It featured the Feeding Frenzy Badge and Blue Fade Epic RE-45 Skin and 600 Apex Coins, DLC had little to no promotion so not many players were aware of this bundle.
